“A good size well equipped two bedroom apartment with flexible accommodation. The apartment itself is well furnished, clean and tidy with car parking immediately outside. It is located in Carroz Ouest (West Carroz) and is an easy stroll in to the centre of town for shops and bars and the swimming pool complex is even closer. There is a ski bus stop just over the road which is perfect for the short trip to the main ski station of Les Carroz 1200. We ski a lot and we always have a week in Les Carroz during the season. The apartment is in a fantastic location next to the swimming pool, tennis courses and high ropes course. It has good size bedrooms, lounge and kitchen area. “Perfect and well appointed”. Just returned from a fantastic holiday in Les Carroz. The apartment was perfect: nice and cosy, appointed to a very high standard, with a magnificent view from the balcony. The addition of free WiFi and satellite TV enabling us to watch UK TV were very welcome as well. The location couldn’t be beaten; it is in a great quiet location with stunning scenery, and barely 50 yards away from the free ski bus. “All the things we needed”. The apartment is only a five minute walk to the swimming pools (indoor, outdoor, Sauna, all in excellent condition). The walk to the village center is about 10 - 15min. There is a bus about 100m away from the apartment front door. The bus runs every 20min I believe. The village is small, other than the center , and the swimming pool, and the hiking trails (in case of now snow like we experienced in 1st week of January 2017). So everything you want is nearby. The Apartment is comfortable size for 2 kids and 2 parents. All the things we needed were provided with the Apartment (family games, everything needed for cooking and eating, vacuum, television channels and radio via TV set). There was also a good selection of books and a large selection of DVD films. Catherine is very responsive, and provided clear and detailed instructions on how to find the place and how to operate the boiler and heaters. Parking is available outside the front door. “Third Visit to Apartment”. Once again we thoroughly enjoyed the New Year week at Les Carroz. The lack of snow (a problem throughout the Alps) made for some challenging skiing, but also provided plenty of excuses for stopping at mountain-top restaurants! However, there were no complaints about the cosy and welcoming accommodation provided by Mike and Catherine. The chalet is always clean, comfortable and well-maintained, with a good range of TV entertainment on offer. Also, in an age when tablets and i-pods are king, it was great to have a fast and responsive internet connection included as standard. “Spring holiday with lots of snow”. We, a dutch family with 2 children (almost 10 and 12 years old) stayed a week in this cosy appartment. We have found everything we needed, our son was delighted with the extended DVD collection. The appartment is well equipped for 4 persons and the village is charming. The skibus stops very close to the appartment and we never had to wait long for it. The 'boulanger' was a 10 minute walk, which was a good start of the day. “Great Christmas in Les Carroz”. We spent Christmas 2014 in the apartment and although we had to search for snow ( we skied in Flaine and Avoriaz) until the day of our departure the home comforts in the apartment made up for that. We played tennis, (thank you for the tennis equipment) watched DVDs (so many to choose from), our 15 yr old son was thoroughly impressed with the satellite TV and of course the WIFI. The close proximity to the Leisure Centre was also a plus, the swimming pool is lovely and the gym has great equipment. The little home comforts in the apartment make such a difference and rather than being in a hotel complex the stay made us feel we were holidaying in a friends apartment. “Cosy apartment in charming village”. We enjoyed our stay here during a very quiet time in the village. The apartment is cosy and well equipped, and the addition of wifi allowed us to plan each day's trip online. It was good to have TV and there's a great selection of DVDs - good for when you want to relax. The village is charming, with a great leisure centre near the apartment (it was closed when we were there but is open the rest of the year). The village centre is a 15 min stroll - we visited the boulangerie every morning for breakfast provisions. there are lots of supermarkets nearby and plenty of good options for days out (we visited Samoens, Annecy and Chamonix). “A fabulous family winter ski holiday.” Our second visit to the apartment for a family ski holiday. The apartment is well situated with a free bus around the village and to the ski lifts every 15 minutes. Apartment facilities more than adequate for a family of six and the UK TV was a nice unexpected bonus as was the Wifi. In addition to skiing, Les Carroz has great facilities, the new outdoor swimming pool and spa is amazing to take away the aches and pains from a day on the slopes! This was our second stay in the apartment and once again we were not disappointed. Just like a home from home with everything you need to get up and running as soon as you arrive. There are a number of Mimi-marts close by and a larger supermarket conveniently situated as you pull off the motorway and start your climb to the village. The free bus with handy boarding just one minute from the front door will take you right to the ski lift every 10 minutes - and you don't need to be a skier to use it. The resort has every modern facility - including an outside heated pool - awesome when the snow is falling and even a skating rink for the kids. The apartment is well furnished and well suited for an extended family or family and friends. "Hard to beat” . The apartment is ideally situated only half a minutes walk from the regular free ski bus. This is my 7th stay and it is hard to beat in terms of location and comfort for a small family. The ski area is extensive with easy links to Samoens, Morillon and Flaine with slopes to cater for all levels of skier. Les Carroz is a lively village with bars and restaurants and is within 10 minutes walk and an upgraded leisure centre is within easy reach of the apartment. I am pleased to say that we have a very enjoyable week. The weather on arrival was grey but very quickly improved and we had an excellent week. The girls managed to swim every day, either in the pool or when we visited lakes at Annecy and Passy. We used the WiFi, a plus for us as we all took our Kindles and Nook's . Paul even skyped his parents one day as they remember the area fondly having spent a week with us there three years ago. The new spa was a real plus that Sarah and I enjoyed.Thank you once again. A lovely week in Les Carroz – we’ve stayed in the village in other MGM apartments and the location of Mike and Catherine’s is superb – lovely and quiet, great views. Very well equipped, we lunched out every day and ate in at night relaxing in the warm. We were fortunate to arrive when there was plenty of snow and had mainly blue skies – all of the lifts and ski-runs were open and we particularly enjoyed our favourite, La Foriestiere back down to the village. How lovely it was to see Les Carroz again but this time in the winter with all the fresh snow around, and everybody is so friendly and welcoming. With a great variety of different runs being available we enjoyed some awesome skiing conditions in the spectacular surroundings of Le Grand Massif . The well equipped apartment was a lovely warm and cosy welcome to come back to at the end of each day. Its ideal location meant it is close enough to walk into the village or just hop on the free ski bus that stops at the end of the road - longest wait we ever had for this was only 4 mins. Thank you very much for letting us stay in such a lovely apartment, it was spacious, comfortable and well equipped, exceeded our expectations. It had plenty of storage space, the beds were good and it was particularly nice to have plenty of cooking utensils, pans etc for home cooking. I have enjoyed this apartment on more occasions that I care to remember, both summer and winter, and it always delivers a warm, cosy and comfortable stay. It is well equipped with modern amenities and is a welcoming haven after a hard day on the mountain. The owners take to care to update the furnishings and equipment on a regular basis, with a flat-screen TV and blue ray player new for this season. It is in a quiet location with splendid views of the mountains, yet close to a free bus route for access to town and the ski slopes. "I have lost count how many times we have stayed at this fabulous location, but once more it has came up to our expectations. As we drove South through France we wondered if it had become a "little tired" with use since we last visited. We found that it was just like it used to be, warm and cosy with everything that you would need for a break in the Alps. Once again Les Carroz stole our hearts. (We even considered staying and seeing what the squatting laws were like in France!) So if you are thinking of booking then don't' hesitate it's worth every penny. We had great weather and stacks of snow which we understand is not always going to happen in the mountains. However we noticed that the resort had made some massive changes to make sure you could carry on ski-ing, all the way to the back down to the village. Checkout "Marlows" which seems to be the Hub of the Les Carroz wheel a great Bar/cafe that caters for families as well as they do adults. Also check out some fine dining at Hotel Les Servages D'armelle. You will not be sorry. Also we did some Cross country ski-ing at Agy about 25 mins away. There is a restuant there "La M'agy du plateau" which serves fabulous food at less than resort prices. It seemed to be packed by locals. We had a fantastic summer break (August 2011) . The location was beautiful and the apartment a real home from home. Les Carroz is absolutely charming and provides plenty to do from paragliding, tennis, swimming (for the more energetic) to just sitting outside a cafe watching the world go by (for the more relaxed) - perfect! We had a great week and found the apartment comfortable and cosy. It was a good spot for a family with young children. The pool complex nearby was excellent, although the town was very quiet in mid June. I would recommend the apartment to anyone; Very Cosy! The furniture and décor were beautiful. The view from the Balcony was lovely too: great for breakfasts of warm baguettes! We would stay again, but probably in July/August during the high season.
